Going back to school carpet & upholstery cleaning

After the school holidays, a few focused cleaning tasks can help reset a busy home. Start with the areas that get the most use, rather than assuming every room needs the same treatment.

Pick the busiest areas

Check the hallway, stairs, living-room carpet and favourite sofa seats. Vacuum loose soil with attachments suited to the material, clean entrance mats and remove small items before planning any further work.

Treat marks cautiously

Food, drinks, craft materials and sticky residues need different approaches. Blot fresh spills where appropriate and follow the material’s care instructions. Avoid aggressive scraping, soaking or a succession of household stain removers.

Send a photo if a mark will not lift. Tell us what caused it and which products have already been tried.

Plan around the family

Discuss access, pets, furniture and drying before the appointment. Leave the cleaned areas clear for the recommended drying period. Permanent stains and wear may remain, so we set expectations first.
